Terms of Use
By installing or using Docxify you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Docxify provides tools to create, convert, edit, compress, scan, protect and organise documents, images, audio and video on your device. Some tools are labelled "Cloud" or "AI"; they work only as described on their screens.
2. Your content
- You keep all rights to the files you process. We claim no ownership and do not receive your files.
- You are responsible for having the right to process, convert, unlock or modify the files you use, and for complying with copyright, privacy and other laws.
- Do not use Docxify to forge, falsify or misrepresent official documents, identity cards, signatures or certificates, or to remove protection from files you are not authorised to unlock.
3. Free plan, Pro and payments
- The free plan includes every tool with daily limits, ads and a small transparent Docxify logo on some outputs, which you may remove per task by watching an ad.
- Docxify Pro is sold through Google Play as a subscription (monthly or yearly, possibly with a free trial) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app from Google Play.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current period stays active. Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy and applicable law.
4. Accuracy and results
Conversions, OCR, translation and AI output can contain errors, and some formatting may change between formats. Check important results before relying on them. Passport, visa and exam photo presets follow published guidelines but the issuing authority's current rules always prevail.
5. Third-party services
Ads, purchases, model downloads, updates and optional AI providers are supplied by third parties under their own terms. Using an AI provider with your key is governed by your agreement with that provider, including its costs.
6. Open-source software
Docxify includes open-source components used under their licences, listed in Legal & compliance → Open-source licences.
7. Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for loss of data, documents, business or profits arising from use of the app. Keep backups of important files. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection law that cannot be waived.
8. Changes and termination
We may update the app and these terms; the effective date above shows the latest version. You may stop using Docxify at any time by uninstalling it.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
